An investigation by the Santa Cruz Sheriff’s office ended with the arrest of a Watsonville man on Thursday. Shortly before 5 p.m. deputies accompanied by a K-9 officer served a search warrant on the 100 block of 9th Street. The canine unit uncovered 9 pounds of methamphetamine and 1 pound of heroin. 32 year old Modesto Munoz was booked into Santa Cruz County jail on illegal drug sales charges.
