Voting will close March 1st for which picture will be chosen for the next large installation of “Watsonville Brillante”. The 12,000 square-foot tile mosaic will cover the outside of the 6-story parking garage at the Watsonville Civic Plaza. People can cast their vote (for which of 3 images they want there) on-line at: communityartsempowerment.org/juan-fuentes-vote
People can also vote at the Watsonville Public Library and at the Friday Farmer’s Market in Watsonville.
Work from local artists (who live in, or within 10 miles of, Watsonville) will be showcased on the 184 smaller horizontal sections of the structure. Applications for artwork (to be placed in those spots) are being accepted until June 8th.
