(10:53)WATSONVILLE- Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Saturday in Watsonville. Authorities say that shortly before 9 a.m. a lone male, armed with a black handgun, wearing a black hoody and ski entered a pizza place on the 1500 block of Freedom Boulevard. The subject brandished the pistol and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone with any information on the robbery is encouraged to contact Watsonville police.
