An 18 year-old man died on the way to a Bay Area trauma center yesterday, after being shot in the head in Watsonville. The incident occurred near the intersection of Maple and Marchant Streets at about 2:15 p,m. The driver of a white Chevy Equinox is believed to have witnessed the shooting, which is Watsonville’s 10th homicide of the year.
