If you have done in-person business with the DMV since April, you’d be wise to check your voter registration. That according to County Clerk and Registrar of Voters Gail Pellerin, who says her office has been notified by DMV of clerical errors that have created registration problems for some voters.
At least 210 Santa Cruz County voters are known to have been affected. Each will receive a letter from the DMV. But Pellerin said there may be more voters who will not be notified, so it’s a good idea to make sure you’re still registered to vote if you’ve been to the DMV in person between April and August of this year.
