A man was airlifted to an area trauma center after he was hit by a vehicle in Watsonville this morning. The 7 a.m. accident occurred on Harkins Slough Road (behind Ramsay Park). The roadway was closed for several hours as the investigation of the accident was done by Watsonville police officers.
