Sunday afternoon’s fire in downtown Hollister reportedly severely damaged a structure that housed 5 businesses on the 400 block of San Benito Street. They were: a salon, a check-cashing business, a flower shop, an insurance office and a print shop. Once it is deemed safe to enter, the building will be re-opened to the property and business owners. 4 firefighters suffered from heat exhaustion and were treated and released from a local hospital.
