A Carmel legislator’s bill, to place warning labels on sugary drinks, has been passed out of the Senate Appropriations Committee. That means that SB-347 will now be heard by the full senate. Local senator Bill Monning says the labels would warn parents about the risks of obesity, diabetes, and other health issues.
