A Red-Shouldered Hawk, that was last seen yesterday morning in the 200 block of Fern Street in Santa Cruz, with a glue-trap stuck to it’s face and shoulder, is still being sought. The glue trap, which is normally used to catch rodents, could cause the raptor serious issues. Rebecca Dmytryk, with Wildlife Emergency Services, says the bird is likely still within a 2-block radius of that address on Fern Street. Anyone who spots the hawk is encouraged to contact Rebecca at rebecca@WildLifeServices.org …..or call Wildlife Animal Services.
