Officials with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office say that 17-year-old Jaime Fernandez is presumed dead. Fernandez was hiking with a relative near Rocky Point Restaurant on Wednesday evening when he slipped and fell. Although rescue efforts have been halted, a search to locate the teen continues.
