Officials say a 38-year-old woman was driving with a 40-year-old male passenger when shots were fired at them. Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Capitola Road was closed between 7th and 17th avenues Tuesday morning while deputies investigated. Anyone with information is to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
