A 16 year-old girl, and a 14 year-old boy, have died as the result of gunshot wounds they suffered this morning in the southern California school shooting. 4 others were injured, with one of those in critical condition. The shooting took place at Saugus High School around 7:30 this morning, and the alleged shooter was arrested in the hospital after he reportedly shot himself in the head, after shooting the other 5 people. Today is his 16th birthday. He is said to be in “grave” condition.
All campuses in the William S Hart Union High School District, and the Castaic Union School District, were placed on lockdown until that arrest was made.
Students that are still being interviewed, can be picked up by their parents at Central Park, which is located on Bouquet Canyon Road.
