3 people were injured, and a 4th person died, in a 3-vehicle accident yesterday on northbound Highway 101 (near Gilroy). A 57 year-old passenger was declared dead at the scene. The just-before 8 a.m. crash occurred south of Highway 25. 2 of the injured people are Castroville residents, while the 3rd is from Salinas. All 3 were transported to area hospitals.
