The Watsonville Fire Department has seven new firefighters. The new firemen are from the department’s largest graduating class to date. The increase in Fire Department personnel comes slightly more than a week after the Watsonville Police Department received its largest group of new officers. Both agencies are benefitting from the recent implementation of measure G.
