(18:47) SALINAS/PEBBLE BEACH – A Salinas man has been sentenced for killing a traffic control worker on Highway 68. 52 year-old Adam Zubiate was reportedly high on cocaine and prescription drugs (while driving in excess of 80 miles per hour) when his vehicle hit the traffic control worker on Sloat Road in Pebble Beach. Zubiate pleaded no contest to D-U-I causing great bodily injury and death to 51 year-old Jesus Fernandez in October of 2014.
