A one-of-a-kind virtual event is slated to be held tomorrow afternoon. The teen volunteer-to-career expo is being co-sponsored by Santa Cruz Public Libraries and Your Future Is Our Business….and includes presenters, community organizations, and on-line resources to empower teens with community service opportunities. Teens will also be able to take part in break-out rooms where they can meet with community organizers, to learn about volunteer opportunities (and work-based learning experiences) that may match with their interests. Some of the organizations and agencies represented will be: Digital Nest In Watsonville, Second Harvest Food Bank Of Santa Cruz County , Santa Cruz Garden Elementary School, and the Santa Cruz Museum Of Art And History (aka MAH)….
