Last week, Scotts Valley Police Department celebrated the birthday of their four-legged officer.
K-9 Atlas, known for his detective work in finding narcotics, apprehending hidden suspects, and searching for evidence turned 7 shortly before the weekend.
Atlas has been a police dog for over six years.
His handler, Sergeant Polito is attributed for the success of Atlas and his career in being a police dog.
