A celebration was held on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz yesterday. Saturday was the 25th anniversary of the installation of the bronze surfer sculpture, that honors Santa Cruz Surfing Club member Bill Lidderdale, who was 1 of the original members of the Santa Cruz Surfing Club. The sculpture is dedicated to all surfers….past, present, and future.
