The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s office is investigating an apparent suicide. At about 10 a-m on Monday first responders arrived to the Aptos trestle at Soquel and Spreckles Drives to investigate reports of a hanging victim. Fire crews were able to remove the 46 year old male from the trestle at about 1 p.m. The Sheriff’s office would like to remind residents that the county does have resources for those suffering from depression.
