A stolen bicycle has been returned to its rightful owner. That after Santa Cruz police officers spotted the bike the day after it was reported stolen. The person with it was cited for being in possession of stolen property. All bicycle owners are encouraged to register their bicycles with their local police department, so that when stolen bicycles are recovered, they can more easily be returned to their proper owners.
