The California Interscholastic Federation is expected to decide later this month what will happen with sports for the 2020-2021 school year….but for now school athletes are working in groups of 12 or less, for 90 minutes at a time (or less). They are banned from using indoor facilities, a shared ball, or taking part in contact drills. The decision to allow athletes to “condition” was made June 26th, by Santa Cruz county school superintendents and the Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency, and C.I.F., and the C.I.F.’s decision on the school year is expected July 20th.
