SpaceX Landing Moved to Sunday 10-03-18 19:00 DC

Central Coast residents south of the peninsula have to wait an extra day to see and hear the first-ever West Coast booster landing.

SpaceX will launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenburg Air Force Base and then attempt to land the booster stage. The event had been scheduled for Saturday but has now been rescheduled for Sunday evening at 7:21 PM PDT. Neither the launch nor landing will be visible from Santa Cruz or Monterey counties.

SpaceX has completed a total of 29 booster landings since the company’s launch of the program.
