Due to a shark reportedly biting a paddleboarder’s board, several Santa Cruz county beaches have been temporarily closed‎. The incident occurred Friday near 38th Avenue in Santa Cruz. Beaches between Capitola and Sunny Cove are now officially closed through April 1st.
