(08:50) Monterey – A man was arrested after he was found in possession of a loaded firearm on Friday. Jeffery Rutt was located in his vehicle at Sylvan Road and Aguajito Road in Monterey. Authorities reported that Rutt was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and stolen property. Rutt fled the scene on foot. A K9 officer located Rutt and he was booked into Monterey County Jail.
