(11:48) SALINAS- The victim of a Labor Day shooting in Salinas has died. On Friday, investigators were notified that 29 year old Marcus Allen Jelks died of injuries sustained during September 5th shooting in the Chinatown area. Jelks became the city’s 29th homicide victim. Two other fatal shootings in Chinatown over the weekend bought the number of homicides to seven for that area of the city.
