(11:30) SALINAS- Salinas police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday morning. At about 7:20 a.m. patrol units responded to a report of a shooting victim in a parking lot on Bridge Street in the Chinatown area. At the scene officers located a 23-year-old deceased male with at least one gunshot wound. The incident marked the city’s 31st homicide of the year.
