(08:30) Salinas – Three men were arrested for a burglary in Salinas. The incident took place on the 400 block of Tyler Street. A witness saw three men taking a safe from an apartment. The witness provided a vehicle description as well as license plate number to police officers. Police located the vehicle and the driver eventually pulled over by the Tynan Village Apartments located on Front Street and Alisal Street. The three suspects fled the car leaving the safe behind. Police were able to locate and arrest 18-year-old Desire Petty, 28-year-old Pahalad Kumar, and 26-year-old David Hardy. Police said the safe contained firearms.
