(08:30) Salinas – A man was shot during an armed robbery. The incident took place yesterday just before midnight in Salinas at the intersection of East Laurel Drive and Noice Drive. The 25-year-old victim was sitting in his car outside a store when he was approached by someone who tried to rob him. The victim was shot in the arm when he tried to pull away from the robber. The robber ran away and is described to be Hispanic and in his mid 20’s to early 30’s. He is about 5’10” and was wearing a gray sweater and black pants. The victim is expected to have a full recovery.
