(22:10) SANTA CRUZ – The public’s assistance is being sought in finding a woman, who disappeared from Santa Cruz with her young child. 37 year-old Alice Weiland reportedly took her 15 month-old daughter Joan to the bathroom near Steamer’s Lane, and seems to have disappeared from there. Her husband later found alice’s purse, wallet, identification (and the child’s diaper bag and blankets) in the bathroom. Alice is described as being a 5 foot 7 inch tall white woman, who has brown hair and blue eyes. Joan is reportedly 2 feet 10 inches tall with blue eyes and blond hair, and she weighs roughly 22 pounds. Anyone with any information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
