(18:25) SANTA CRUZ/NEVADA – A Santa Cruz man died in a small-plane crash over the weekend in Nevada. 46 year-old Edward Mumbert (a Bay Area Bondsman), his female client who had “skipped”, and a half moon bay attorney, were in the attorney’s single engine Piper Cherokee when it crashed into a parking lot at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. All 3 died in the incident. The plane had been headed to San Carlos, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The cause of that crash is being investigated.
