The Seaside Police Department is investigating the third shooting of the new year. At about 2:20 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of five to seven gunshots near the intersection of Wanda and Harding Streets. Upon arrival investigators found no evidence of any persons or property struck by the gunfire. Witnesses say the shots came from a 2000’s model, white Nissan Altima sedan, occupied by two latino males. It is not known at this time if the incident is gang related or linked to Thursday’s shootings. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Seaside Police Department.
