A Scotts Valley man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly displayed a firearm and threatened his neighbors. Officers responded to a report of an armed suspect threatening to shoot his neighbors on the 400 block of Whispering Pines Drive shortly after 12:30 a.m. 70-year-old Stanley Wristen Dowling was found outside his residence. He admitted to threatening his neighbors and a loaded gun was found inside his home. Dowling was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
