The Santa Cruz Surfing Museum is temporarily closed. That’s because a termite infestation was discovered there. The building has been tented and, in total, the beacon will be out for 3 days while that process is taking place. The work was scheduled for both mid-week, and outside the standard bird nesting season….so as to minimize the impact to both the people (and birds) that regularly utilize the facility.
