Authorities in santa cruz are still looking for a 26-year-old man who evaded officers near U.C.S.C. last month. Santa cruz resident David Andrew perez is accused of nearly hitting a bicyclist on empire grade road, before fleeing from a c-h-p officer. Perez, who is a registered sex offender, abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. He has not yet been located. anyone with information on perez’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the california highway patrol.
