(18:01) SANTA CRUZ- Dredging resumed at the shoaled Santa Cruz Harbor on Monday. Operations had been suspended when the assist vessel Dauntless suffered a catastrophic engine failure. The port district contracted a temporary assist vehicle while Dauntless is repaired. The Sammy G arrived on Saturday and entered service assisting the new dredge on Monday.
