Santa Cruz County is inviting the public to virtual safety presentation. The presentation is regarding post-fire risk to residents and property. In rainy seasons following severe fires, the risk of flooding, mudflows and debris flows are significantly elevated, posing a risk to life and property. Attendance at Board meetings is limited due to COVID-19, though some seating is available in the 5th floor Board chambers and overflow basement community room. Residents may also watch online at facebook. The meeting is this morning at 9 a-m (Tuesday, Sept. 29)
