As they get ready to re-open their businesses, restaurant owners in San Benito county are working to figure out how to keep social distancing rules in their establishments, while providing dine-in services. They say it’s more than just moving the tables around, and maybe eliminating some tables….people have to be able to get to the tables and to the restroom….while servers and busboys need to move food, drinks and tableware around too. All restaurant employees will have to follow strict protocols, including screening themselves for symptoms and staying home if they have them…..and restaurant owners and managers will need to perform a detailed risk-assessment.
