San Benito county officials say their county meets Governor Newsom’s qualifications to re-open restaurants. Those qualifications include not having more than 1 case of Covid-19 per 10-thousand people in the last 2 weeks. Counties also must not have had any Covid-19-related deaths in that same 2 weeks. When restaurants do re-open they will need to space tables further apart, and that means less customers. Because of that, some city officials are recommending that some roadways get closed, so that restaurants along them can also place tables outside….allowing for more customers.
