The Santa Cruz Nissan Dealership will close later this week. That’s in-part because locals have sued Santa Cruz county supervisors over their decision to allow the construction of a new Nissan Dealership at the corner Soquel Drive and 41st Avenue. Owner Don Groppetti say he will cease operations at 1605 Soquel Avenue this Friday, and about 11 employees will lose their jobs. Groppetti encourages customers to call the dealership regarding their vehicles, and future service. After this Friday’s closure, the Gilroy, Seaside, and Salinas Nissan Dealerships will be the closest ones to this area……until the suit settles and Groppetti is allowed to build his new dealership at the corner of Soquel Drive And 41st Avenue.
