power was INTERRUPTED for most of yesterday in the southeast part of the santa cruz harbor. The final tsunami recovery project involves upgrading all electrical service PG&E transformers. Electrical service was shut off while PG&E workers and the Port District’s contractor installed new transformers and secondary connections. the project will completed next thursday when crews will shut off power from 8 a-m until 6 p-m to the southwest portion of the harbor to perform the final upgrades.
