(15:15) Santa Cruz- The City of Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz County have today filed separate lawsuits against companies that they hold responsible for climate change related damages. The proceedings filed in the California Supreme Court seek to hold accountable twenty-nine different oil, gas, and coal companies for damages. Damages that include: rising sea levels, pollution, as well as more frequent and severe wildfires, drought, and extreme rainfall.
