The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission is meeting near downtown Santa Cruz this morning.
The RTC will receive a presentation on a possible rail vehicle demonstration on the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line.
The demonstration would be made possible by Chatsworth-based TIG-M, a company specializing in battery and hydrogen powered streetcars.
Members of the public interested in learning more are encouraged to attend this morning’s meeting or online at SCCRTC.com. This meeting starts at 9 AM and is located on the fifth floor of the county government building.
