(06:25) Salinas – Authorities reported that 2 people were arrested yesterday morning, after leading police on a car chase in Salinas. Officers were conducting a traffic stop when the driver, 39-year-old Gilbert Ojeda, failed to stop and ran a stop sign and continued north toward highway 101. Ojeda was arrested along with his passenger, 27-year-old Veronica Martinez, who had violated her probation. They were both booked into Monterey County Jail.
