The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office will investigate an officer-involved shooting that took place on Sunday night. Salinas police responded to a vehicle that crashed into a Laurel Heights Park home causing a fire. The driver fled the area and was subsequently shot. The suspects name and details of the shooting have not been released.
