A Salinas man is being sought in connection with a bank robbery in the east bay city of Pleasanton. Joel Torres, who is suspected of being 1 of the 4 robbers in the case, is a known gang-member who authorities say should be considered “Armed And Dangerous”. That’s in-part because the 4 armed suspects took over the bank, and kidnapped some of the people inside. When they fled that scene, the robbers fired rifle rounds at a police officer’s car….damaging the vehicle and injuring the officer….and they also car-jacked a vehicle.
Torres is from the Salinas area, and has several visible tattoos….including a star and 4 dots under his left eye, and the name Elijah on his neck. Anyone who sees Torres, is encouraged to call 9-1-1.
