(10:24) SALINAS- Salinas police are searching for an armed man wanted on parole violations. The incident began Saturday at 8:30 p.m. when a patrol unit attempted a vehicle stop the driver sped off and a vehicle chase ensued until the man abandoned the car on Midway Avenue and fled on foot. Police closed off the area and began searching for the man who was last seen jumping over fences with a firearm. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
