A 19 year-old Salinas man, who was brought to the U.S. as a child, is scheduled to be back in court Wednesday in San Francisco. Juan Manuel Martinez, who qualifies as a “Dream”er, was handed over to ICE agents recently, as the result of a procedural error by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. It remains to be seen if Martinez will be deported, or will be able to remain in the U.S.
