(12:45)SALINAS- The Salinas Department of Public Works announced a major cleanup of downed trees. On Friday an official said that crews had responded to 740 reports of downed trees in one week. All of the trees were knocked down by winds after a series of rain storms saturated the ground. The city normally responds to about 100 reports of fallen trees throughout the year.
