A Salinas doctor’s office was raided on Thursday. Doctor Steven Mangar’s Pacific Pain Care office on the 9-hundred block of West Alisal Street was searched by agents from the D-E-A, California Medical Board, the D-O-J, and the District Attorney’s Office. Although investigators declined to comment on the search there have been recent allegations of improperly furnished prescription drugs. Doctor Mangar has faced similar charges in 2012, and on Friday he appeared in court on unrelated charges of driving under the influence of Methamphetamine.
