A 16-year old was arrested over the weekend in Salinas after officers found a sawed-off shot gun hiding inside the teen’s pants. Police responded Sunday after several men were seen loitering just after 7:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Acosta Plaza. 6 men, all known gang members were found and searched, while the youth was found with the shotgun. Police also found handgun ammunition after searching the boy’s home. The youth was booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall.
